Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Hi again! After almost a whole month not posting here, and again for the same reason (I’m not making these up, but the workload and assignments here are really not what I expected to be), I come back with a great news. For those who missed out about the news, last week, there is a rumor arising about the remakes of the Pokemon Gold and Silver versions. The reason for this is because last week, the aired Pokemon show in Japan announced a new Pokemon game, and within the screen are two Pokeballs, made of gold and silver. Thus, after couple of days, it is CONFIRMED! The long awaited remake of the Pokemon Gold and Silver (best versions, in my opinion in terms of gameplay value) is announced! The Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. These are the screenshots from the currently developed game. It shows the player (either Gold or Silver) walking around New Bark Town with Chikorita following him. Images are courtesy of Serebii.net

From the looks of it, it is built on the same engine with 4th Generation Pokemon games, and obviously for Nintendo DS console. However with the inclusion of the screenshot, it seemed that your starter Pokemon will be following you around just like in Pokemon Yellow. There are currently no updates and news regarding this, but Serebii.net says that the next CoroCoro magazine will feature the two Pokemon games in their next issue this Thursday. And last but not least, it is scheduled for Fall 2009 release in Japan. So expect about half a year or so for the American release. And while we wait for the next CoroCoro magazine, I would also like to remind you who resides in Japan or USA that the event for the Key Card for the Rotom forms will be ceased in less than 48 hours. If you’re in Japan or USA, don’t forget to get that. And see you next post..!

Great news, I’m shivering with anticipation! He, he.

Although I already got all my Rotom forms.
